Local artist, Carroll Davis, came to me in need of a website to showcase her mixed media artwork, and offer the public a quick and easy way to contact her. Her specialty begins with watercolor and is enhanced by the beauty she sees in “found objects” such as wire, beads and pretty-much anything that tickles her creative yet whimsical taste buds. She carefully selects mattes and frames that compliment her pieces. You can find her work in galleries around southwest Louisiana, and if you get the chance to meet her…do! She’s fun to talk to, and has a story about each of her paintings.

A Lake Charles area therapeutic massage center (Special Touch Therapeutic Massage) was in need of a fresh new look for their company website. Their online presence provides lots of information about the various types of massage, what you can expect from a visit to their facility and highlights the benefits of massage while explaining the solutions they offer. You can also see a list of the services and products they offer as well as their company brochure as a PDF that can be downloaded.

Beau-nique: {byoo-neek}-noun, beautiful, unique, becky farque.

Becky is one of those creative spirits that has the ability to turn one man’s trash into fantastic works of art and amazement. She’s been known to stop on the side of the road to pick up items that others are discarding, only to turn thier scraps into some of the most unique and beautiful furniture, accessories and such you’ve ever seen. Her website has been set up so that she can easily add photographs of her work, and tell the story of each piece without the need to hire someone to continually update it—she can do all the updates, uploads and blogging she’d like all on her own. This logo was created with the words “beautiful” and “unique” in mind while also incorporating her name, Becky Farque, into the design.

Be sure to keep an eye on her website. As she creates more works of “trash to treasure” she’ll be uploading photographs, telling the story of each piece, sharing her techniques and possibly offering some of her works for sale.

Keiland Construction LLC already had a website when they came to me in need an extensive gallery. They wanted a place to showcase their work, both before and after. The gallery needed to be divided into three catagories—Commercial Projects, Multi-Family Projects and Civil Construction—and it needed to be easy to navigate.
